Dear Friend in Corps,
The Erie Thunderbirds, a group of talented people that reside in the Tri-State area including Senior Corps veterans, Junior Corps age-outs, college students and graduates, professional musicians, music teachers, and amateurs, have just completed a very successful 2004 spring season. From The Tartan Ball in March, to the Steel City Indoor Show in early May and all stops after and in between, the Corps has delighted thousands of fans with electrifying performances. Once again hard work, dedication, and Thunderbird pride make it all possible.
What's in store for the rest of this season? Our philosophy remains the same: To deliver our exciting, entertaining, and in-your-face 2004 musical package that delights fans of all ages. We are very excited about purchasing a matched set of Contras to complete the process of having a matched set of horns, and continuing to build the Percussion Pit this year. We also still have a dream of one-day owning an equipment truck that would completely suit our needs.
In order to accomplish these goals, we are requesting your help by considering a donation to our "VIP CLUB". This year which we are rewarding benefits as shown on the donor card, ranging from Corps Lapel Pins, CD’s, Shirts, Hats, and Reserved Section Seats to see us perform at this years Lake Erie Fanfare. (Which is just a few weeks away)
In return for your donation, you will receive the benefits listed and have your name listed on “VIP Club” webpage, and entered into the Corps permanent record as having contributed to the Corps continued success and future prosperity.
